JOB OBJECTIVE / SUMMARY
The function is linked to the Technical Department. The Facility Technician is mostly involved in facility maintenance and projects or activities linked to: safety, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, predictive maintenance, proactive maintenance, production improvement, support to production and cost saving.
2. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule Waste
* Able to prepare scheduled wastes handling requirements
* Perform scheduled wastes segregation activities
* Perform scheduled wastes labeling activities
* Perform scheduled wastes storing activities
Fire Fighting
* Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for firefighting equipment.
* Ensure pumphouse, fire alarm, hydrant, hose reel, sprinkle, CO2, FM200 and others firefighting equipment in good condition.
* Ensure fire extinguisher on time service.
* Attend during Bomba or insurance surveyor inspection.
Dust collector
* Ensure safety of dust collector.
* Check and service spark arrestor to ensure all device in good condition.
* Monitor, record indicator reading and analysis.
* Attend any issue link to dust collector.
* Perform preventive maintenance.
* Attend during DOSH or DOE inspection.
Air Compressor
* Ensure safety of air compressor.
* Check and service air compressor, air dryer, air receiver tank to ensure all device in good condition.
* Monitor, record indicator reading and analysis.
* Attend any issue link to air compressor.
* Perform preventive maintenance.
* Attend during DOSH inspection.
Handle facility activity
* Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance program and SRR system on all equipment.
* Immediate respond and resolve when breakdown.
* Take the lead for root cause finding, corrective and preventive action link to technical issue.
* Coordinate with production if the issue link to machinery.
* Lead outsource contractor to carry out repairing/replacement/fabrication parts.
* Able to meet the dateline
* Standby for all call back/ arranged call back of subordinate if plant breakdown after office hours.
WI / SOP Writing
* Initiate new working instructions for current / new machine operation.
* Involve on WI / SOP writing and preparation.
Other activities
* Establishes systems/guidance in sustaining and improving all equipment performance indices to meet operations goals.
* Perform shift duties to support the running of Production in Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production when requested
* Develops and maintains documentation system for equipment manuals, schematics and others appropriate records.
* Provide technical know-how in troubleshooting equipment issues and develop improvement strategies to improve unplanned downtime.
* Establishes and promotes the maintenance of safe and healthy working condition.
* Ensure maintenance procedure adherence to company's Quality System, ISO and/or other standards.
3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
a) Education & Experience
* With at least Certificate / Diploma in any field.
* CePSWaM competent person.
* APCS competent person.
* Candidate must have at least 2 years of working experience in the floor in the related section with the necessary skills before the candidate is considered.
b) Behavioral Skills
* Communication skills whether verbal or written in Bahasa.
* Team work and able cooperation with others.
c) Technical Skills
* Overall supervision.
* Knowledge of schedule waste, firefighting equipment, dust collector, air compressor, air cond, and other buidling facilities maintenance
* Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with machine vendors and internal team member.
* Demonstrate through knowledge of plant, equipment, operations and processes.
* Knowledgeable with computer controls and systems including support equipment.
* Able to diagnose and make correction for equipment faults and programming error effectively.
* Review and analyze improvement project
* Total Preventive Maintenance knowledge
