We are seeking a hands-on and driven Process & Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Processing department in Brașov. In this role, you will be responsible for improving production processes, leading root cause analysis efforts, implementing lean initiatives, supporting quality improvements, and managing strategic improvement projects.

This is a key role within the Processing team, reporting directly to the Process Quality Manager, with strong collaboration across production, engineering, maintenance, and quality departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization & RCA: Identify process inefficiencies and quality issues through data analysis and on-floor observation. 
  • Lead root cause investigations using 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
    Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Champion and execute lean initiatives such as 5S, SMED and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Drive waste reduction, cycle time improvement, and productivity enhancements.
    Quality Support: Ensure process compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the Quality team on audits and documentation.
  • Project Management: Plan and lead process improvement projects—define scope, create timelines, manage cross-functional input, and ensure timely execution with measurable results.
  • Data & KPI Analysis: Track and analyze key process indicators such as yield, scrap, downtime, and throughput. Use insights to drive continuous improvement actions.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Experience: min 3 years in a process engineering, manufacturing improvement, or quality-focused role—preferably in a production/processing environment.
  • Excellent command of problem-solving tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with quality standards and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
