Your future job

As a Forecast Analyst you will be part of our Finance team in the Flooring Division in Wielsbeke. You will play a key role in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by ensuring accurate demand forecasts and providing financial insights to support commercial decision-making. This hybrid role combines analytical forecasting responsibilities with sales performance control, enabling alignment between market demand, financial targets, and supply chain capabilities.

You will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning
    • Develop and maintain accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to incorporate promotional plans, new product launches, and market trends into forecasts.
    • Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare and present demand planning reports during monthly demand review meetings.
  • Sales Controlling
    • Analyze sales performance versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
    • Support pricing, margin analysis, and profitability assessments.
    • Ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate reporting standards.
  • IBP Process Support
    • Act as a key contributor in the monthly IBP cycle, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
    • Facilitate cross-functional communication between Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.
    • Identify risks and opportunities impacting demand and revenue targets.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or in a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • You have around 3 years of experience in demand planning, sales analysis or financial controlling. Experience in IBP or S&OP processes is preferred.
  • You are proficient in forecasting tools and ERP systems (OMP, APO, or similar).
  • Strong Excel and data visualisation skills are a must. Expertise in PowerBi is preferred. 
  • You have an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial.
  • You have the ability to work in a matrix organisation and manage competing priorities.
