For our division Unilin Flooring we are looking for a strategic and persistent Sales manager for the growth of our DIY market in Germany and Austria.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow the DIY segment.
- Approach potential DIY customers and expand our customer base for our laminate and rigid flooring.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, including pricing, payment terms, and rebate agreements.
- Convert prospects into key accounts and nurture those accounts for long-term growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Representation of Unilin Flooring DIY at events and customer meetings.
- Being a bridge builder between the different sales teams (direct, wholesale & DIY)
Who are you?
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the flooring/construction related industry
- Sales experience within DIY or wholesale is a must.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A long term thinker with a persisting mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Our office is based in Dusseldorf so close presence to our offices is considered is a big plus.
- You are fluent in English and German.
- Open for travel (25%)
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
