Unilin Insulation (Ballyconnell, Co Cavan) is currently recruiting for a Loading Operative. As a Loading Operative you will be required to complete all tasks to a high standard by constantly challenging the status quo and be at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Work within the ethos and standards of the company.
  • Communicate with the Despatch Office any shortages or problems with loads.
  • Work with haulier drivers to sort and load trucks.
  • Ensuring correct product is loaded for the Customer.
  • Assemble and wrap part pallet products accordingly for shipping.
  • Ensure product is labelled/pack to a very high quality, report to production and quality departments if issues found.
  • Unloading trailers – UK Loads/Pallets/XPS/Stone-Wool/Plastic and so on where necessary.
  • Splitting pallets of product as required.
  • Shunter driving – bringing down Arctics and Rigids for loading.
  • Returns – putting good quality product back into stock, filling in our part of the returns forms and returning damaged product to their correct departments.
  • Help with month end stock-take when required.
  • Keep good housekeeping standards in areas you enter.
  • Keep up to date knowledge of all products.
  • Ensure your waste is discarded in an appropriate manner.
  • Keep up to date with all training to ensure you are trained to complete your day-to-day role.
  • Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines.
  • If and when required by your manager, help in different departments.
  • Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management.

Days/Evenings Rotation:

Week 1: 6.00 am - 14.00 pm

Week 2: 14.00 pm - 22.00 pm
